Morning Prayer 2022 Day 83
God who keeps promises,
This body you have given carries the weight of time and mistreatment.
Our minds carry the toxic relationships and pain from the past.
We hold on to those things that become tape recorders of grievances.
We find it hard to move forward and to move on.
When we get stuck in a tent of negativity we feel trapped and closed off from you, but you are here.
Our bodies are not separate from you, just as they are not separate from ourselves.
You dwell within our hearts bringing new and renewed life. You speak freedom. You speak transformation. You speak healing. You speak forgiveness. This is a guarantee from you - for us. Thank you for this promise of love. Thank you for claiming us fully and completely. Help us live into this day freed for joy knowing this tremendous truth.
