Morning Prayer 2022 Day 84
God of Reconciliation,
It is your great desire that we would be reconciled to you. Such is your desire that you made the Way for each and every precious life you have created. There is no “but” in your love. There is no “if” in your grace.
There is only your purpose that you have revealed again and again that we might know and recognize the love from which we were created and in which we live.
God, you gave your Son as a glorious act of reconciliation and because of what you have first done, we can live in the peace of knowing that we are claimed. We are not claimed “because” of our own actions, but because of your greatest action. Thank you for the complete and loving reconciliation you gift to each of us. May we know it deep in our core and may it be the fountain of our life.
