Morning Prayer 2022 Day 66
Knowing God,
You know me. You know this world. You know each of us - our anxieties and joys, our fears and confidence.
You know our comings and our goings.
The things we have done and the things we have avoided and dismissed and forgotten.
You know us, all of us, fully and completely, and yet - you still call us beloved.
You still call us child. You abide in our lives wholly and unconditionally.
You long for us to know you in this same way, but the distractions of the world pull us from you.
They separate us from you, and yet, you remain.
As we start this new day, remain here. Be ever-present and show yourself that we might recognize you and know you as the seed and root of all love in the world.
Amen
