Morning Prayer 2022 Day 44
Nourishing God,
It is so hard not to put my trust in mortals, and equally hard at times to trust them.
Help me turn my heart toward you.
Bend my ear to hear your messages of grace and love for me.
Grow the fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control in my heart and mind.
Make me as a tree planted by the stream that my roots may reach out into your saving waters.
Amen
