Morning Prayer 2022 Day 68

Healing God,

There are places in our lives where we long for healing, where we ache either for ourselves or for others. People we care for are navigating illness, injury, and chronic pain. It is a reality, if we care for others, we will watch them suffer. We will bite our tongues at the decisions they make that bring heartache. We will watch helpless, as the things they love are taken from them. We will cry with them as they share their bad news.

I pause this morning, as I start my day to think about those I name now who need your healing presence in their lives physically and emotionally.

Circle them in your care and comfort. Give them the healing only your love can bring. In the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, I pray.

Amen
