Morning Prayer 2022 Day 56
Loving God,
You came to the centurion, clear as day. You sent your angel. You spoke. You sent him.
I long for that clarity of presence - your presence - in my life.
“What is it, Lord?”
What are you calling me to? Who are you calling me to visit? Where are you calling me to listen?
As I walk through this day, give me pause. Give me clarity. Make yourself present. Shine as brightly as an angel that I might not miss you.
I know you are here. I don’t want to miss you.
When my family speaks, may I hear you? When my colleagues speak, may I hear you?
May I pause in silence and listen? I want to hear you.
Thank you, Lord, for your presence in my life.
