Morning Prayer 2022 Day 53
Gracious God,
It is a new day. A new day for opportunity and hope. Help me approach this day for the gift it is regardless of what yesterday gave me. Give me reminders throughout the day to pause and recognize you in my life.
May I see you in the uncertain eyes of those I meet.
May I hear you in the heavy words of others.
May I listen for you in the silence of stolen moments between meetings and tasks.
May I taste you in the food that nourishes me throughout my day.
May I feel you in the handshakes and embraces of colleagues and loved ones.
Above all things Lord, may I recognize you in my life - this day and all days. May that bring me comfort and release and nourishment for this amazing journey you have given me.
