Morning Prayer 2022 Day 99
Bread of Life,
Yeast alone doesn’t make the bread rise. It needs water and warmth and time.
You give us new life in the waters of baptism. You warm our hearts with love and you are patient with us. You feed us at your table of grace.
As we rise this day, remind us of our baptisms - that in the waters we were claimed by you - that you made us your own.
Shine the warmth of your loving grace into our hearts that we might radiate that light to others.
Feed us and move us to feed our neighbors in need. You are the bread of life - for this we give thanks.
