Morning Prayer 2022 Day 91

Loving God,

It is your desire that all who are blind to the love and grace you share might know it fully and completely for the freedom it can and does bring.

It is your desire that all who are deaf to this same love and grace would walk upright listening for your whispers in the sounds of the birds, the laughter of children, the stories of the old, and the pleas of the oppressed.

It is your great desire, the work you started at the beginning of our time, and that you brought to fullness in the resurrection of your Son, Jesus Christ.

I walk blind. I find it hard to hear.

But, you shine brightly. You give rest in the darkness of night. You whisper to our hearts. You do all these things that we might be free of the weight and mire of this world. You do all this because you love us - you have claimed us as your own.

May we know this great love, and may it transform us - making us whole and complete.

Amen
