God of Love,
The greatest of these is love.
The greatest of these is love.
The greatest of these is love.
Why Lord? Why do we get so hung up on all the other things?
Why is it so hard to love? Why is it so hard to believe that love really is the greatest of these?
Why is it so hard to see your love for us as a gift?
Why is it so hard for us to share that same gift with others?
But it is Lord. It is hard, day in and day out - to Love.
Help us Lord. Help us love.
Help us listen and recognize your love for us deeply and open us to love for others.
Amen
