Morning Prayer Day 21

Gracious God,

Giver of all gifts, there are times when I can’t see that you have given me gifts to share with the world - gifts that shine your light for others. There are times when I have trouble connecting to what you have called me to do in this world of your making. You create and your people squander. You call and your people do not listen. But you have gifted us all - teachers, prophets, exhorters, givers, ministers, leaders, and the compassionate.

God your mercy is great. Your calling is loving. You desire that through the work of my mouth and the kindness of my actions that others might know the freedom of seeing themselves through your eyes - valued, claimed, and loved.

Thank you for trusting me, redirecting me, and sending me to share the gifts you have given me.

Amen
